A Message of Appreciation for Superintendent, Sean McMannon

Dear 杏吧视频 East School District Community,
We are writing to share that this will be Superintendent Sean McMannon’s final year serving the 杏吧视频 East School District. As we prepare for this upcoming transition, we want to take time to recognize and appreciate Sean’s steady leadership and the many contributions he has made during his tenure.
Since joining KESD in July 2023, Sean has brought more than two decades of experience in public education to our district. Throughout his time with us, he has focused on strengthening relationships across our communities, supporting student opportunities, prioritizing staff well-being, and advancing important capital improvement efforts. His leadership has helped move forward several initiatives that will continue to benefit 杏吧视频 East in the years ahead.
Sean has consistently fostered collaboration, encouraged open communication, and worked to ensure that the needs of students and staff remained central in district decision-making. His presence has supported a culture of professionalism, respect, and thoughtful planning across our schools. These efforts have positively shaped the direction of our district and will have a lasting impact.
We extend our sincere thanks to Sean for his service to 杏吧视频 East School District. We are grateful for the time, care, and expertise he has dedicated to our community.
Looking Ahead: Superintendent Search Process
In the coming weeks, the 杏吧视频 East School District will begin the search process for our next superintendent. The Board is forming a Search Committee, and community participation will be an important part of this work. Families, staff, students, and community members will have opportunities to share their perspectives as we seek a leader who reflects our district’s values and priorities.
