Bus Service Updates

April 2, 2021

Dear ¾«¶«´«Ã½ East Community Members,

I am writing to follow up on our decision this week to suspend transportation services from the Butler Bus Company.

The Vermont Department of Health has completed their outbreak investigation and are satisfied that the bus company understands protocols related to Covid-19. We have assurances from the company owner that there are no cases where employees who should not be working are on the job.

We will be resuming bus service for Concord, Lunenburg, Lyndon, Miller’s Run, and Sutton starting on Monday, April 5, 2021. Burke and Newark will have some minor interruptions in their service and the principal will reach out directly to families.

I know the interruption in your schedules has been disruptive and I want to thank everyone for your adaptation and flexibility this week. We appreciate all that you do to support our young learners.

Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Botzojorns, Superintendent of Schools
