The ¾«¶«´«Ã½ East grades 5-8 cross-country running team had their first middle school race at the Lyndonville Fairgrounds hosted by Lyndon Institute. Thirty-five racers from ¾«¶«´«Ã½ East, Oxbow and Danville competed on a 1.8 mile course. ¾«¶«´«Ã½ East came out strong in the boys race with six finishers in the top ten and winning as a team. John Underwood (grade 8) and Linden van der Linde (grade 8) from BTS came in first and second! The girls also won as a team and also had six racers in the top ten, with Samantha Hansel from LTS and Lyda Bentley (grade 5) from BTS in first and third place. Most impressive was the high energy and 100% effort by all of the athletes!

Looking forward to the next meet in Danville on 9/14!
