KESD 5-8 XC at North Country 10/6

The KESD XC teams made their way to the Memphremagog Trails Center for a dual meet with North Country. It was a beautiful day matched by the wonderful performances of our runners.

The race featured two distance options, 1.2 and 2 miles.

In the 1.2 mile race, Abigail Walker and Alina Home finished 1+2 respectively, and Charlie Allen finished 2nd on the boys side.

In the big race, KESD was once again led by John Underwood and Stella van der Linde who had her first top finish of the season. Each was followed by a host of KESD teammates. For the boys: Linden van der Linde, Miles Partridge, and Lucas Switser placed 2nd-4th. Stella was followed by: Sara Lund, Samantha Hensel, Phoebe Muller, Lydia Bentley, Kerenna Gerhart, Fiona Muller, and Kenzleigh Henderson finishing in 2nd through 9th place leading to a team sweep of the meet. Congratulations on this amazing performance.
