KESD North (Lyndon) vs St. Johnsbury @ St. J

KESD 2022 Fall Practice Schedules Now Available

September 30, 2022

September 29, 2022 Game Summary --

The KESD Lyndon squad put up their best efforts, despite the shortage of subs, but were unable to match a strong competitor in St. Johnsbury and lost 4-0. Lyndon put up a great fight and stayed in the match, as they kept it to a one point game by half. However, the fatigue set in and Lyndon started to gas out, as their opponents started to control the ball more in the second. “St. Jay did a decent job at pulling our defense out to the sides and exposing the open middle lanes that they were able to set up their strikers.” said coach Bias.

The goal duty was shared amongst Grayson Bias and Trent Ainsworth, who both made some great stops in net. Lyndon had some really nice shots on net too, but their goalie made some great blocks, and took those opportunities away. “We were playing on a shortened field and small nets, but I think it would have hurt us more with a big field/net, as we were down to only having two subs at the end of play. We can only learn from this match, move forward towards our next, and hope that our whole team can get healthy again soon” says Coach Bias.

Lyndon continues to progress towards becoming full capacity again and will prepare to hit the road again, facing off against Danville next Monday, October 3rd. Game plans to kick off at 5:00.
