September 21, 2022

September 21, 2022 Game Summary --

The 7/8 KESD south girls played a thriller in Oxbow on Wednesday afternoon.

Oxbow scored first, only to be countered by Zumye Chance drilling the upper corner to even the score. Faith Lapage sent a shot that ricocheted off the goal post, but was cleaned up quickly in front of the net by Olivia Chase for the lead. Lapage added another goal to advance the score to 3-1. The 2nd half saw some great goalkeeper work from both teams goalies with Willa Davis recording 13 saves for the South girls! Stellar work in the midfield by Rosa Patoine and Mya Barney kept the ball advanced, and Molly Gorman and Lillian O’Malley we’re rock solid on defense helping hold the Oxbow ladies to just one goal. The 7/8 girls are back in action Friday when they take on the KESD North girls in Lyndon.
