Ms. Thomas Secures Grant through Clif Foundation to Provide Books & Special Events for Lunenburg

December 5, 2023

The students and staff at the Lunenburg School would like to give a shout-out to our town librarian, Debbie Thomas. Ms. Thomas secured a grant through the Clif Foundation, which donated $3,000 to provide books and special events for the children of Lunenburg. From the grant, the teachers selected books for their classrooms totaling $500.

On November 29th, Duncan McDaugall, Cassie Willner, and Ms. Thomas visited our school and presented all the purchased books that will help fill the town library's shelves.

Duncan also shared the captivating true story about Philippe Petit, who high-wire walked across the newly built twin towers of the World Trade Center in NYC in 1974.

Thank you, Ms. Thomas!
