January 28 KESD CLW 7th/8th Grade Girls vs. Danville  

The 7/8 KESD CLW girls faced off against the talented Danville team in game one of the Good Shepherd Tournament on Saturday.


Danville got off to a great start scoring 14 points in the 1st. Madisyn Amadon kept the KESD girls in the game leading the way with 4 points in the 1st half.

¾«¶«´«Ã½ East was held to no field goals in the 2nd quarter, but was able to add some points from the free throw line.

Makayla Savage and Jayden Bunnell each added a point from the charity stripe.


The KESD girls struggled to get the ball through the hoop in the 2nd half, but did a great job rebounding and forcing turnovers. Brianna Bunnell had 5 steals and 4 rebounds, and Mya Barney added a steal and 3 rebounds of her own. Madisyn Amadon led the team with 9 points.

The 2nd game of the weekend was cancelled.
